What is UKA?
UKA (United Kingdom Alliance) provides a complete range of services
aimed at helping, encouraging and supporting dance teachers, drama and
exercise (in all disciplines) to establish and develop their business. They
provide Professional examinations for dance teachers in all disciplines.
The candidate has good knowledge of child protection, and health and safety.
Members of the UKA are bound by a strict code of practices.
Non adherence may lead to disciplinary action and possible expulsion.

What is Licentiate Examination Level?
In this case our teacher has worked full time for over ten years with four or
more disciplines of dance and has trained others to teach dance. Our principle dance teacher teaches beginners improvers and intermediate level. The Licentiate
examination is the highest examination level offered by UKA.
